Hello/Shé:kon/Boozhoo!

My name is Kennady Rayn (Osborne) and I am the owner Seventh Rayn Design Co. I was born and raised in Corunna, Ontario and moved to the big city of Toronto to pursue my dream of creating art at the Ontario College of Art and Design University. I originally went into Drawing and Painting but switched into Indigenous Visual Culture in my second year to start my journey in reconnecting with my indigenous roots. My lineage is Mohawk from Six Nations Grand River Territory and Irish/Scottish. I ended up dropping out of art school in my third year and moved back home to Sarnia. My business started as a small idea in 2020 and now has blossomed into my full time gig! I never would have thought I would be running my own art business one day!!  This company started as a way to solidify myself as a mural artist locally but has now turned into a platform for me to explore all styles of art that I love to create.

My current works are centred in connection to land, spirituality, dreams, and animals. In the past I have explored themes of generational trauma, mental health and loss in my work. Every chapter of work I produce is a reflection of my journey; past, present and future. Right now (2026) I am focusing on using textiles, beadwork, and sewing into my paintings. These mediums are a reflection of both sides of my lineage. I continue to try my best to incorporate my culture into my work as I navigate my connections between my mixed heritage.

Thank you/Niá:wen/Chi Miigwech for visiting my website, I look forward to brightening up your space with my creations.
